Private Jet
Charter London

Private jet hire from London means choosing between five very different airports. The right one is usually whichever cuts your drive, not whichever is closest to the aircraft.

London private jet airports

Farnborough (FAB / EGLF) — purpose-built for business aviation, no commercial traffic, and the most-used London departure point for private jet charter. Best from west and south-west London, Surrey and the Thames Valley.

Biggin Hill (BQH / EGKB) — south-east London and Kent. Often the fastest door-to-door option from the City and Canary Wharf despite looking further out on a map.

Luton (LTN / EGGW) — the largest business aviation volume in the London area with several FBOs. Strong from north London, Hertfordshire and the M1 corridor.

Stansted (STN / EGSS) — long runway and good handling, useful for heavier aircraft and long-haul departures. Best from north-east London and Essex.

Oxford Kidlington (OXF / EGTK) — a genuine alternative for Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds, and often overlooked.

Which London airport is best for private jets?

There is no single answer, and anyone who gives you one is guessing. For most trips it comes down to total door-to-door time: an hour saved on the M25 beats fifteen minutes saved in the air. Tell us where your passengers are starting from and we will tell you which airport actually wins.
