Private Jet Travel
Inside Europe

Hong Kong to Europe is a long-haul sector most travellers fly commercially or on a large-cabin aircraft. The useful private flying usually starts after arrival — the short European sectors between cities, coasts and ski resorts.

Where private lift earns its keep on a European trip

A typical Europe itinerary from Hong Kong touches several countries in a week — London then Paris, Geneva then Milan, a few days on the Côte d'Azur or in the Balearics. Those sectors are between forty minutes and two hours airborne. Flying them privately turns a day of airports into an hour, and the aircraft you want is already in Europe.

Sourcing locally rather than positioning

Bringing an aircraft from Asia for short European sectors makes little commercial sense. European-based light and midsize aircraft do that work economically and are already inside the European handling, slot and permit system. We source through certificated European operators for exactly this reason.

Schengen, the UK and border formalities

The Schengen area allows straightforward travel between most European countries once you have entered it. The United Kingdom is outside Schengen, so London to Paris crosses a border in both directions. Visa requirements depend on nationality and are yours to confirm with the relevant consulate — we do not advise on immigration.

Time zones, and what that means in practice

Hong Kong is seven or eight hours ahead of the UK depending on the season. An enquiry sent from Hong Kong at the end of the working day arrives in the UK late morning, which usually means a reply waiting when you next open your email. Enquiries reach a working commercial pilot rather than a sales desk.

Language

This page and the enquiry process are in English. The site is also published in Simplified Chinese, which is the mainland written standard rather than the Traditional Chinese used in Hong Kong. If a Traditional Chinese version would be genuinely useful to you, say so in your enquiry — it is a fair request and worth knowing.

Common questions

Should I charter from Hong Kong or arrange an aircraft in Europe?

For travel inside Europe, sourcing a European-based aircraft is almost always cheaper and simpler than positioning one from Asia.

How long are typical European sectors?

Short. London to Paris is a little over an hour, Paris to Nice around an hour and five minutes, London to Geneva about ninety minutes. The route pages show calculated distances and times.

Do you provide visa or immigration advice?

No. Visa requirements depend on nationality and should be confirmed with the relevant consulate. We arrange the flying, not the immigration.

Is the site available in Chinese?

In Simplified Chinese, which is the mainland written standard. Hong Kong uses Traditional Chinese, and we have not published a Traditional version. Mention it in your enquiry if it would help.
